Rachel Nelson has worked in an Accounting & Payroll capacity since 2015. While working at On My Own Independent Living Services, she received the opportunity to work in the Accounting department and go to school for her Accounting Certificate. She received her Accounting Certificate through UC Davis Extension. 

Her skill and expertise moved into the payroll industry when she took a position as a Payroll Specialist for Oracle and processed payroll for 50,000 employees in the United States, 3,000+ in Canada and 100 employees in Puerto Rico. 

She developed her Accounting skills at her previous employment with StemExpress. She provided support to her department by taking on AP/AR duties, assisting with month end processes and owning the expense reporting procedures and credit card reconciliation. 

Rachel’s next goal is to get her Certified Payroll Professional Certificate.
