Sheila DeBlonk
Assistant to the Policy Director
Sheila DeBlonk is a political consultant and community engagement expert who has been working with candidates, committees, and governmental agencies for over 25 years.
Raised in Sacramento, politics was a part of her educational backdrop. After earning her BA in Communications at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she returned to her hometown, where she married her college sweetheart, Bryan. Together, they opened a political consulting and event management firm, providing almost any campaign service needed by a client, including local advocacy, direct mail, grassroots organizing, polling, fundraising, and event and festival management.
After two decades, winning over 120 local campaigns and passing $3 billion in local General Obligation School Bonds, Sheila went on to work with statewide education and transportation issues. She is a youth mentor with a lifelong focus on community and promotes enthusiastic consent and sex-positivity through education and awareness. Sheila and Bryan live in Natomas with their two children, Sierra, a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Nick, who attends the local High School.
