Alana Ramsay is LGC’s Administrative & HR Coordinator. She graduated Summa Cum Laude (4.0 GPA) from California State University, Sacramento in Fall 2020 with a BA in Communication Studies. She has a passion for advocating for underserved communities and using multi-angle approaches to tackle complex issues.
Over the years she has developed strong organizational and people skills while serving her community. Prior to joining the LGC, she worked as a Historical Statutes Proofreader Student Lead at the Legislative Data Center, digitizing California’s legislation dating back to the early 1900s. In 2020 she also served as the Co-Chair for the Youth Advisory Ad-Hoc Committee for the Blue Ribbon Commission on the Establishment of a Sacramento County Women’s Commission, completing a needs-assessment of women and girls in Sacramento County and presenting to the Board of Supervisors. Throughout her educational career, she held numerous executive positions for clubs, all of which she believes prepared her for her time at LGC.
