The Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative is an alliance to help cities and counties reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save energy. This alliance is a collaborative between three statewide non-profit organizations and California’s four Investor Owned Utilities.
This webinar will showcase how local governments across California have taken advantage of SEEC’s wide variety of free resources to help create a more energy efficient community and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
We will begin the webinar by providing brief overviews of all the SEEC resources, including the Statewide Energy Efficiency Best Practices Forum, educational webinars, climate inventory and planning tools and the Beacon Award. The City of Glendale and the City of Santa Clarita will provide information on how they successfully completed greenhouse gas inventories and Climate Action Plans with the help of SEEC Tools, Trainings and Resources. AMBAG will provide the insight and knowledge on how they became one of the first governments in the region to utilize the intern model that has been replicated across the state to complete more than 80 inventories in California!
