About the Workshop
On Wednesday, September 23rd 2015, nearly 150 local, regional and state transportation planners; local land use planners, public works staff, active transportation advocates, public health professionals, businesses representatives and other community leaders came together to learn, share, and discuss the advancement of bicycling in the Capital Region.
The workshop consisted of a mix of plenaries, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and working session discussions. Workshop participants and speakers highlighted best practices, engaged in dialogue, and identified opportunities to take action in an effort to significantly advance bicycling throughout the Capital Region and beyond.
